Terms of Service
The rules for using ATLAS, written in plain English on purpose. By creating an account or using the app you're agreeing to these.
The short version
ATLAS teaches you about property and lets you model scenarios with your own numbers. It never gives you personal financial advice, and nothing in it is a prediction or a guarantee. Your data stays yours, we don't sell it, and you can leave whenever you like. Decisions you make are yours, so check anything important with licensed professionals before you act on it.
Who we are
ATLAS is a LVL UP company, operated from Victoria, Australia. When these terms say "we", "us" or "ATLAS", that's who they mean. You can reach us any time at andy@l3veluponline.com.
What ATLAS is
ATLAS is an education and scenario-modelling tool for people learning to buy property well. It scores readiness, assesses places on numbers you enter, maps plans over years and teaches the craft behind good buying decisions.
Everything in it is general information and education. It does not take your personal circumstances into account in the way a licensed adviser would, and it never tells you what to buy.
Education only, never advice
Nothing in ATLAS is personal financial advice, credit advice, tax advice or legal advice. We don't hold an Australian Financial Services Licence or an Australian Credit Licence, and the app is built so it doesn't need one: it educates and illustrates, it doesn't recommend.
Projections, scores and charts are illustrations built from assumptions you control. They are not predictions, forecasts or guarantees of any outcome. Real markets, rates, costs and laws move, and they won't match a model.
Before acting on anything significant, speak to the right licensed professionals: a mortgage broker or lender about borrowing, an accountant about tax, a conveyancer or solicitor about contracts, and a licensed financial adviser about your broader position. This matters double for anything involving superannuation or an SMSF, where the rules are strict and the stakes are high.
Your account
- You need to be 18 or over to use ATLAS.
- Keep your passcode to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your login.
- Give us a real email address so we can reach you about your account.
- One account per person. Don't share logins.
Early access and testing
ATLAS is in a private testing phase. That means invite-based access, access windows that can end, features that change or disappear, and the occasional rough edge. We'll do our best to keep the app up and your data safe, but during testing we can't promise the service will always be available or error-free.
Using ATLAS is currently free. If paid plans launch later, we'll tell you clearly what costs what before you pay anything. Nothing will ever be charged to you silently.
Fair use
Don't do these things:
- Use ATLAS for anything unlawful.
- Copy, scrape, resell or republish the app's content, lessons or code.
- Attempt to break, probe or overload the service, or access another person's data.
- Present ATLAS output to someone else as if it were personal financial advice. It isn't, and passing it off that way could put you on the wrong side of the law yourself.
If an account is used this way we can suspend or end it without notice.
Your numbers stay yours
The information you enter, your income, savings, goals, properties and plans, belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it purely so the app can work for you. We don't sell it, and how we handle it is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Our content
The app itself, its lessons, design, code, scoring models and branding belong to us or our licensors. You can use it all within the app for your own learning and planning, and that's it.
The limits of our responsibility
You keep every right the Australian Consumer Law gives you that can't be excluded. Nothing here touches those.
Beyond that, to the extent the law allows: we're not liable for decisions you make based on the app, for losses caused by acting on general educational content without professional advice, or for indirect losses like lost profits or lost opportunities. Where liability can't be excluded but can be limited, it's limited to resupplying the service or the amount you've paid us for it in the past 12 months.
Ending access
You can stop using ATLAS whenever you like, and you can ask us to delete your account and data by emailing us. We can end or suspend access for breach of these terms, or wind down the service with reasonable notice. If a testing access window ends, the app locks but nothing you entered is deleted, and access can be extended.
Changes to these terms
These terms will change as ATLAS grows, including after our legal review. When they change in a way that matters we'll tell you in the app or by email, and the date at the top of this page will update. Using ATLAS after a change means you accept the new version.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes belong to the courts there.
